Stateless people Project - Bekaa region:

❖ Helped many families to issued Lebanese identity for Stateless people.
❖ Awareness session for more than 1000 person (Process to obtain Lebanese identity via Lebanese law).
❖ Publish and raise the stateless case in Social Media by define stateless people rights, and how they can reach these rights.
❖ Trainings for lawyers that work in this domain.
❖ Coordination with the Lebanese government to facilitate the work of lawyers in this field.
❖ Expert and consultants Collect data for more than 1800 stateless people and looking for fund to cover fees of issuing ID’s.
❖ Defending their rights in the judge’s center and some government centers through the association's lawyers.

❖ Design and delivery of HLP-related advocacy initiatives.
❖ Strategic and technical advice in the implementation of HLP rights activities.
❖ Development of an HLP policy advocacy strategy and design of specific advocacy initiatives targeting the process for drafting of the National Land Law /revision of existing laws.
❖ Writing policy brief on HLP and displacement issues.
❖ Providing high quality technical assistance on HLP issues to counterparts.
❖ Act as an expert and consultants on HLP issues, where required, in collaborations with other UN agencies.

❖ Organize and facilitate trainings for child protection and GBV.
❖ Ensure that child protection and GBV cases detected are appropriately referred to available primary services in all Syrian refugees’ shelters.
❖ Conducting awareness-raising activities aimed to identify vulnerable children and families and protect them from harm.
❖ Establish a Child Protection Committee to build its capacity and plan its activities to become the community focal point and reference of issues related to children living in the shelters.
❖ Monitor protection trends and report them regularly with other NOG’s active in this field.
❖ Ensure effective planning of the work, in order to meet goals for protection monitoring, implementation of small-scale projects and community-based support for persons with specific needs; oversee implementation of this work and ensure that quality standards are met.
❖ Develop and maintain effective working relationships with other INGO, UNHCR, government authorities, and other key stakeholders to ensure active coordination, collaboration, and information dissemination.

We defend the rights of people and work to protect the most vulnerable among them, especially children and women. Our protection services include legal aid, advising and assistance in all matters of life, and expanding access to land, property, and individual rights. We strive to prevent sexual and gender-based violence in all its forms. We raise awareness about how to access rights. And one of the most prominent projects carried out by the Haqq Center is the subject stateless people as this project has achieved great success by securing identities for many people, and we are still seeking to secure all rights for these people.
