The mission of The Education sector is to meet the lifelong educational and training needs of all people in the local community and the region. Tafaol operates 3 education centers that provides awareness sessions and training. Additionally, we execute projects related to Youth Function skills, Youth Basic Literacy and Numeracy, Digital platform through discovery platform, Life skills for Adolescent, TAVET & Teaching agenda, in addition to intensive work to improve and advance the educational level through coordination and follow-up with Official and Private schools and the Ministry of Education. We are certified by the Ministry of Education with EOI of YBLN.

In line with its mission to serve the region and its commitment to life-long learning, Tafaol Association established his first education center on west Bekaa at 2017.May Fields Center (MAC) at the Tafaol Association is a division of Tafaol education program that aims to:

 

  • Focus on obtaining equal and quality education for children who are unable to attend school due to difficult living and economic situations.
  • Open schools and training centers almost free of charge for all ages, nationalities and religions in order to reduce the specter of illiteracy and limit its spread.
  • Enable Lebanese, Palestinian and Syrian refugees to obtain the right to education in the most advanced and developed way we have.
  • Raise and improve the educational level in the region and increase the number of educated people.

PROGRAMS OF STUDY
Tafaol Education Sector currently offers more than10 different trainings programs:

Accounting Studies, Community Health Nursing, Critical Care Nursing, Essentials of Business, Financial Management, Human Resource Management, Marketing Management Certificate, Nursing Informatics, Office Management, Leadership and Management, Human Resource Management, Marketing Management, etc.

TAFAOL EDUCATION SECTOR also enrolling in individual courses to continue their professional development without earning a certificate, Languages courses, Sport courses, Art Courses Special Courses etc.

In addition to the trainings, TAFAOL EDUCATION SECTOR offers non-certificate courses in various areas including: languages, information technology, AUTOCAD, Robotics’, photography, interior design, leadership skills, and project management. Also educating BLN for Syrian refugees and Teaching agenda program, etc

Also, we implement education project in partnership with International Organization War child, UNICEF, Anera, DRC, IRC, NRC, OXFAM and Mercy Corps etc.

TARGET POPULATION AND BENEFICIARIES:

Youth: MFC includes young people from the poorest sectors of societies affected by conflict, who will directly benefit from MFC activities. It covers about 300 youth in different trainings and courses by helping them build entrepreneurial and work-oriented skills.

Children’s: Children are the main target group of MFC programs. These beneficiaries are from areas most affected by conflict and highly vulnerable to trafficking and rights violations. This group also includes Lebanese and Palestinian children. MFC expected nearly 1500 refugees and 2500 Lebanese that benefit from center services at the end of 2021.

NGOs: Tafaol Association partner NGOs also use MFC to make their small projects (Trainings, awareness sessions, etc.)...
